As the name suggests, 'Night portrait' is a free Lightroom preset for portrait pictures taken at night. It brightens up the shadows and enhances what few light there is, to bring the attention on the subject. This preset also has minimal colour correction to modify the colour aberrations there may be in night pictures. 

If, when applying the preset, the picture looks too blurred, kind of like a watercolour painting, you may need to go to Detail > Noise reduction or Color noise reduction and pull the slider down. On most pictures taken with a smartphone, this should not be necessary as the Noise reduction function is essential to reduce the grain in most night pictures.

🇮🇹 Come suggerisce il nome, 'Night portrait' è un predefinito gratuito di Lightroom per ritratti scattati di notte. Alza la luminosità delle ombre e intensifica la poca luce presente, per portare l'attenzione sul soggetto. Questo predefinito ha anche una minima correzione colore per modificare le aberrazioni cromatiche che ci potrebbero essere nelle foto notturne.

Se, nell'applicare il predefinito, la foto appare troppo sfocata, simile a un dipinto con gli acquerelli, vai su Dettaglio > Riduzione rumore o Riduzione rumore colore, e abbassa lo slider. Sulla maggior parte delle foto scattate con uno smartphone, questo non dovrebbe essere necessario poiché la funzione Riduzione rumore è fondamentale per ridurre la grana nella maggior parte delle fotografie notturne.
